- Trying to find a rental house is awful. LIVE WITH YOUR PARENTS FOREVER. Even if they live in a tiny country town and your only option for university courses are nursing, commerce, or arts with a major in Australian Studies. A WELL-ROUNDED EDUCATION JUST ISN'T WORTH IT.
- I bought '69 Love Songs' by The Magnetic Fields today. Finally. Also Nina Simone, but whatever. Listening to it right now and I don't want to be doing anything else.
- I tried to find Melt Banana in Polyester Records and they had Melt Banana and I got depressed because that means they aren't as obscure as I thought. It was one of my first really real hipster moments. I did a dance to celebrate. Not really. I should have, though. Why am I even writing this.
- My book list for one of my Creative Writing subjects has crossovers with my Real World booklist and the booklist for one of my subjects for next semester, which means I'll be getting very well acquainted with American Psycho. I am not sure how to feel about this.
- My blog has been viewed by a Korean art gallery, apparently. HI. HOPE THE WEATHER IS NICE THERE.
- I am going to see Neil Gaiman speak on Thursday. My excitement, see how immense it is *insert graph to show huge immenseness of excitement* And CHEAP, too. I was just on Facebook at uni and a thing came up in my feed about there being a handful of tickets left SO I BOUGHT ONE (I was not at uni for uni things, it's ok). This is my first ever online purchase, it's very exciting.
- Big Day Out on Saturday with a friend. Night before is pizza and movies, day after is article writing for our uni's student magazine. My first project for it! I'm excited. Pretty keen for Yeah Yeah Yeah's and Red Hot Chilli Peppers. I barely know who any of the other bands are though because when I'm not trying to find obscure Japanese noise bands on Youtube I am listening to Duran Duran.
- This album is so good, you guys.
